O jogador controla uma linda garota chamada Rei Hatada, que para “reviver” sua falecida irmã mais nova, Mirai Hatada, faz um acordo com o demônio do outro mundo que é o limbo. A história progredirá conforme você luta contra as almas que vagam pelo limbo. Além disso, ao derrotar inimigos específicos, aparecerão “Pensamentos de Danmatsuma”, que ao “chorar para purificar” desenvolverão mentalmente o protagonista. De acordo com isso, você pode obter armas chamadas “Shisou” ou “Armadura Mental”.
